阿瓦隆的迷雾

看时介绍说是一部迷你电视连续剧，是用女性特有的细腻为我们讲述了有关女神和她如何在历史的长河中失落的故事。我想应该是这样的，最令我印象深刻及心疼的应该就是莫根了，她是亚瑟王的姐姐，也许因为是神母教的传人，她有着超越常人的坚强，但同样的她也只是一个徘徊在信仰与情感之间的柔弱女子，但在经历了粉身碎骨的痛苦之后，她明白了自己的使命并拥有了心灵，但正是因为这样，才让人更觉得心疼，心疼她所经历的一切，心疼她的身不由己。最终，迷雾笼罩了整个阿瓦隆，死亡和失落终结了这个时代，虽然有太多的不舍，但又何尝不是这个时代该有的命运呢。这个时代的终结其实与任何人都无关，人类文明的进步毁灭的又岂止是这些。

没看过原著，不过相信原著比电影好，因为电影无法超越原著已成为定律。
原著的作者是女性，又是通过大湖女神祭祀继承人摩根视角来叙述亚瑟王时代的故事，所以电影处处弥漫着女性忧伤哀愁的情绪。电影前三分之一是宿命论论调，中三人之一充满偶然性论调，后三分之一又是古希腊式弑父的悲剧。从头到尾，你不是在看电影，仿佛是慢饮一杯苦酒。心情不好的时候千万别看，让人情何以堪～～～

我看电影从不喜欢人物始终被感情所左右，虽然我承认人类是感情动物，但是人除了感情，还有责任。无疑这部影片感情是故事发展的主线，主要人物情感交错犹如蜘蛛网般错综复杂，各自要承担的责任义务通通不见踪影，所以我给三星。总之电影可看，但不推荐。

     After King Arthur led his knights of the Round Table to fight in the last battle for the glory of Avalon, one of the greatest knights of the Round Table died with his body stretched peacefully. It was Lancelot, King Arthur's right-hand man, Morgan's cousin, who sticked to the code of chivalry to the last moment. In medieval times, the code of chivalry were some behaviors for a knight to follow, and the quanlities the knight had to possess, which also known as chivalry, included bravery, piety and chaste devotion. Here I would like to focus on the chivalry Lancelot possessed.
     Bravery, as you may associate, is an indispensable characteristicof a knight on the battlefield. As I mentioned before, at the most crucial moment, Lancelot came back to defend his king, his country even though he was no longer a knight of the Round Table, and he clearly had the chance to survive from the war. The moment he vowed, he considered the code of the chivalry as the most important part in his life, and he was willing to fight for it throughout his life without regrets.
     Piety, also a vital characteristic of a knight, was adequately reflected on him. As soon as King Arthur introduced his love Guinevere to him, he was shocked but kept silence all the time. Even if there was a chance for him to confess himself, he did not violate his vows, his king, and his country. Additionally, when he was asked to get into Kind Arthur and Guinevere's bed, he looked staggered and embarrassed. The reason why he was hesitated to follow his heart was that he was faithful to the King Arthur and determined to keep his vows forever.
     Chaste devotion, the last characteristic of a knight I speaked of above, was rather impressived too in consideration of Lancelot. To be a knight of the Round Table, he not only devoted his love Guinevere to King Arthurhis, but devoted his life to the country. Actually, he devoted everthing, including his freedom to be himself, because he could not even reveal a little bit his personal feelings towards Guinevere, which was the hardest thing to do it particularly when facing the one you meeted everyday. However, all he could do was to hide the affection and turned it into patriotism.
     In conclusion, all the characteristics of a knight, especially Knight Lancelot, had shaped the whole Europe and continued to shape the world.

  Although this movie is through a woman's eyes,I still want to talk about King Arthur.
 The reason which makes Arthur and six other knights of the round table fight for the Roman empire for 15 years is the real hope for peace and freedom.But the powerful Roman empire put forward additional conditions when they should be free: attended the mortal battle before they went free.
   The bishop of Rome was in the name of god to ask their allegiance. Actually,they just wanted to sacrifice them because of the considerations of interests. Besides god, there was nothing that they couldn’t exploit. Even in the face of loyalty which was as pure as gold.
  King Arthur had a heart of equality and humanity. So he was aware of the cruelty of the bishop of Rome. Then he gave birth to doubt their adorable loyal heart to Rome. Truckee asked Arthur very sharp: “Arthur, you are brave when you shouldn’t be ,fight in the land which shouldn’t fight for, what’s it about?” Arthur answered:”to the Rome, although it no longer exists.”Truckee stared at him and slowly said:”what are you afraid of on earth?”
  Arthur's fear came from the fear of the world. Fear that hope does not exist, fear his belief collapse moment. Arthur was deeply hated the man who killed his mother Merlin told Arthur: what make you pull out the sword of the king is not hate for me, but a mother's love for you.After Arthur hearing these,he finally decided with Qing vamps against Saxon gang up on arrival. Only love can give a deep fear of the king of England with guidance.
  The knights once said: the killings in tomorrow will be regarded as a nightmare.
  But every tribal people would pick up the tomahawk,shield up to continue the war which would make them die again and again. They all were regarded to die for the name of freedom.We may suspect that the heroes who lived in the faith and arrogant noble personality had such limitations, but at the end,it turned out to be a person's own contradictions.
  People would build walls to security one day.People will give birth to the hearts of attack one day. You are for permanent peace, we are for in peace one day.So peace for peace ,that is never cease the battle of honor.
  There was even no way to stop this dispute. Not like Barry Ann of the Crusades team, choosing not to intervene in these disputes can make things better. The Jerusalem issue to defense in the Christian Crusaders, let the Muslim army chief Salahuddin learned Christian dignity and not be destroyed, to bless the people safely out of the city in the war and this is actually relatively weak request. It would be possible to achieve peace.
  Even the peaceful premise needed to test of blood and fire, human beings destined to use the really cruel way to test their divine desire and hope for the defence forces. Don't always believe in soft and weak peace and the environment itself can do not disorderly. Because the human is not the personal will, but they will. A person's stability, not enough to affect security of all people. But it would make unsettle some idea of human activity more violently.
  It is tempting to think of the famous person theory. The people living in the village are bad people, every one of them steals another thing, and all people finally have all things still. So here is in peace. Until one day here came a man. He didn't steal anything. The good people’s things is less and less,another person has more and more things. Finally one day, the village appeared serious confusion.
  I think the village is simplified world. Or more simply say: the serious disorder village is human own inevitable fate.

       这部电影会吸引你一直看下去，但是看完之后却有种压抑的感觉蔓延在身上每个神经...你不知从何说起，却又觉得整部电影引人入胜。
       电影由起初的缓缓铺叙，从摩根离开avalon开始，倒叙回故事的源头，再慢慢描绘整个故事，电影时长3个多小时，才讲完所有情节。虽然是以亚瑟王为故事蓝本，但电影主线却是围绕在与Avalon息息相关的几个女性角色身上，最终以Avalon这一圣地在人们信仰的灭失下逐渐消失在迷雾之中收尾。
       就我个人感觉而言，在还没看过这部电影的时候，其实我对亚瑟王的故事并不了解，所以一开始并不能很好的理解电影所要传达的意思。但随着电影的铺开，一个个鲜活的形象才逐渐展现在眼前，有为了终生的使命而不惜一切代价的戏码，也有为了爱而宁愿牺牲自己的戏码。虽然我觉得故事中主人公之间的关系有点过于复杂且有些混乱，但整部电影来说还是可圈可点的。毕竟电影里面的配乐就是吸引我的其中一点，悠扬的音乐配合电影情节有种引人入胜的感觉。
      总体来说，我认为这是一部很值得看的电影，人们总说艺术来源于生活却高于生活，电影也是如此。无论你了解或者不了解这段真实的历史...这都是一个很好的参考。

The Mists of Avalon
The movie “the mists of Avalon” is a very different movie to tell the Arthurian legends from the perspective of the female character including his mother Igraine; his half-sister Morgaine; his aunt Viviane, the Lady of the Lake and his wife, Gwenwyfar. The film also shows the decline of people’s faith in Avalon. The film is set in the period when Christian invaded England and people’s faith in Avalon gradually declined.
The distinction between this film and others is that rather than casting Arthur as a distant, unknown person with little or no explanation but from the perspective of the female characters to show a different Arthur. On the other hand, the focus of this film is Arthur’ sister, is presented as a woman with unique gifts and responsibilities at a time of enormous political and spiritual upheaval who is called upon to defend her indigenous matriarchal heritage against impossible odds. The film stands as a watershed for feminist interpretation of male-centered myth by articulating women's experiences at times of great change and shifts in gender-power. The typical battles, quests, and feuds of King Arthur's reign, however, act as secondary elements to the women's lives.
